In close collaboration with the renowned designer Ilse Crawford and her London-based studio StudioIlse, we have created the first Aesop store in Denmark. The Australian skin care brand Aesop is in addition to its lifestyle products, renowned for its unique and extravagant concept stores, all of which are different from each other. In their shop on Værnedamsvej nothing is left to chance. All fixtures and fittings are custom made for this shop. The continuous color scheme is inspired by the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøj, and the walls and floors are decorated in a traditional / classic Italian marble style. The tight straight lines, the subdued colors and the distinctive interior of brass and walnut together form a calm atmosphere you do not experience every day.
